The "water in motion" theme for my photography project is proving a lot more challenging than I expected. With the local creeks moving at a trickle (or dry), I'm left to man-made water devices...like faucets, toilets, etc.
Here's a picture of the fountain at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. I isolated one of the water jets with my 35mm lens and used a slow shutter speed to make the splashing water appear totally calm and a circular polarizing filter to cut the reflection off the water. The image is pretty simple, but I liked the blue and white tones in the water.
