The older buildings around us were reflecting in the glass.

Perhaps next time we will do a weekend walking tour, spending a night in a hotel...Waynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01516377076236631604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3946930863533202394.post-10350657044447440012011-10-20T09:16:32.968-07:002011-10-20T09:16:32.968-07:00Wayne,
I LOVE the photo's in this, especially...Wayne,

I LOVE the photo's in this, especially the last one. Was it a reflection through the window or did you do a double exposure? What a fantastic time, walking through the city.

We were in San Francisco a few years back for our 15th wedding anniversary. We took our kids with us (yeah, we're weird about taking our kids on our anniversary trips) and stayed just outside the Marina Dist. We walked everywhere we went and what a marvelous time it was. Our kids still remember everything about that trip and how cool it was to walk to the Golden Gate Bridge, to walk up the backside of Lombard (VERY STEEP!), to walk through China Town, and once in awhile we'd jump aboard a trolly or bus when we got tired from walking.

There are so many things to see that it's a shame to go whizzing by in your car when you could be walking and enjoying the small things you'd never otherwise see.

Great blog post, happy anniversary! and may you and your wife have many more years of wandering the world together.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
